4 Day Fly‑in Luxury Gorilla Safari
OVERVIEW
This is the fastest, most comfortable way to do Bwindi. You skip the long overland drive and fly straight into the gorilla region, trading travel fatigue for time in a proper forest lodge.
The structure is simple and strong: arrive, settle, trek, leave. No filler ‘extra experience’ day that competes with recovery. If you want a second gorilla trek, that should be an extension — not squeezed into a schedule that’s meant to feel effortless.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive in Entebbe and transfer to your boutique hotel near Lake Victoria. Tonight is a calm landing before tomorrow’s flight.
A buffer night here keeps the fly‑in safari smooth, especially if your international flight arrives later in the day.
Accommodation:
Luxury: Hotel No.5
Mid-range: The Boma Hotel
Budget: ViaVia Guest House
Meals: Dinner

Day 2 – Flight to Bwindi
Transfer to Entebbe airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight into the gorilla region. From above, Uganda turns into a patchwork of lakes, hills and farmland.
On landing, transfer to your lodge and spend the afternoon settling in — forest views, quiet air, and a clear briefing from your guide on how trekking works.
Accommodation:
Luxury: Kyambura Gorge Lodge
Mid-range: Elephant Hab Lodge
Budget: Bush Lodge (tented rooms)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast you head to the ranger station for a detailed briefing, then trek into the forest with trackers who locate the gorillas daily.
When you find the gorilla family, you spend one unforgettable hour with them at close range. Return to the lodge, slow down, and let the experience land — that’s the luxury.
Accommodation:
Luxury: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp
Mid-range: Mahogany Springs Lodge
Budget: Buhoma Community Rest Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 – Flight to Entebbe & Departure
After breakfast you transfer back to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe.
Connect to your international departure or add an optional overnight in Entebbe if your onward flight is the next day.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
